Dupont is a town in Lancaster Township, Jefferson County, Indiana, United States. The population was 343 at the 2020 census. Dupont is located about 12 miles north of Madison. Coordinates: 38 degrees 53’ 29” N 85 degrees 31’ 00” W

Dupont was founded in 1849. It was named after the Dupont Family.
